Interactive Teaching Strategies

 

My interactive training methods differ from traditional methods in the emphasis that I place on encouraging active involvement on the part of the participants.  They will learn to make connections between previously unrelated concepts and take part in situational role playing exercises.  I try to foster a sense of independence, initiative and enthusiasm and, far from being simply passive recipients for information, participants must assume responsibility for creating their own personal knowledge frameworks.

 

Among numerous interactive teaching strategies, I have adopted several that I have found to be particularly suited to sustainability-related concepts:

    Cognitive Maps

    Interactive Workshops
